Biography of Bro. John
Bro. John recorded two songs as a gift for his mother, presented to her on Mother's Day, May 7, 1955. The songs
are My Mother's Eyes and Count Your Blessings. Fr. Paul Aronica,
SDB accompanied Bro. John on the piano. The recording was cut on a 10" vinyl disk in Paterson, N.J.
While there are many scratches at the start of each song, the sound quality improves after that. The analog recording
was transferred to a digital file through the courtesy of Eddie Krakaur at the studios of 2 Ton Sound, Inc., 42
Broadway in New York City. Click on the links below to listen. There may be a delay of several seconds before
the file opens.

“I hope that I will be known as one who was always cheerful, who sought to be kind and loved in return,
and who worked for the salvation of souls. I am most grateful to God for my Salesian vocation.”
