Summer Day Camp 2012

June 18 - July 27, 2012 (six weeks)
Our 63rd season!

Ages:     5-14, boys and girls
Days:     Monday thru Friday
Weeks:  Choose any one week or all six
Hours:   8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Meals:   Lunch & afternoon snack
Cost:     $150 per week per child, $25 registration

Daily Schedule

Morning Assembly, 8:30 a.m.

1st Activity Period, 8:50 a.m.

2nd Activity Period, 10:10 a.m.

Assembly & Juice Break, 11:15 a.m.

Religious Service, 11:35 a.m.

Lunch & Yard Games, 12:00 p.m.

3rd Activity Period, 1:00 p.m. 

4th Activity Period, 2:00 p.m.

Afternoon Assembly & Snack, 2:45 p.m.

5th Activity Period, 3:10 p.m.

6th Activity Period, 4:10 p.m.

Assembly & Dismissal, 5:00 p.m.

Activity Period Offerings

During each of the six activity periods offered, campers can choose from one of the following activities.  For some periods, participation may be limited to a certain age group to give everyone an equal opportunity to participate.  Each activity will offer at least six activities from the following list:

Teen Service Hours
Youth between the ages of 15-17 may earn up to 80 service hours for school by volunteering during the summer.

Religious Activities

The camp is run by the Salesians of Don Bosco, a Catholic order of Priests, Brothers and Sisters who spend the entire day with the campers with the assistance of additional adult staff.  Prayers are offered during the morning assembly and afternoon assembly.  A religious service is conducted in the parish church every day before lunch.  Mass is offered on Fridays.  Campers are welcome regardless of their religious affiliation.
